Villa General Belgrano has developed into one of the most important holiday centers nationwide.
The small town of about 10,000 residents distinguishes itself with its wide cultural spectrum grown from the influx of immigrants from Middle Europe, beginning around 1930 when German immigrants founded the village and subsequently first introduced fistball to the country.
Visitors to the village will be captivated and enchanted by the variety of bungalows, hotels or small lodgings, the restaurants or the quaint shopping mall.
The 2015 World Men’s Fistball Championships will take place in the city’s sports center, consisting of a large grass court for both a main and secondary field, as well as providing other facilities for the tournament.
