La Cumbrecita lies 1,450m above sea level in a nature park in the Sierra Grande, and is one of the villages in which some of the World Championship matches will take place.
La Cumbrecita is a ‘pedestrian only’ village, a feature that is quite unique in Argentina. The landscape is breathtaking, and the vast diversity of trees has resulted in the formation of a singular microclimate. Visitors are enchanted by the alpine architecture, as well as by the wide range of hotels, bungalows and restaurants that line the narrow streets. The games will take place in the city sports center, on a grass court built specially for this event.
